The Screen Arts department teaches animation, video art, documentary, experimental cinema and interactive media such as augmented reality and virtual reality. Students can explore traditional techniques, cutting-edge tools and future technologies in any combination. The program encourages independent, professional and multidisciplinary creators with the skills to innovate in their field. The curriculum develops critical thinking and individual expression. As students refine their art, they transcend language to create bold statements about social, political, personal and cultural issues. Many of them cross the barriers between art, film, animation and new media, delivering precise and personal messages that resonate in today’s world.
